Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SolviTech IT Solutions LLC ("SolviTech," "I," "me," or "my") handles information collected through solvitechitsolutions.com. I keep data collection to what I actually need to answer your questions and run the site, and I never sell your information.

Information I collect

I collect information in four ways:

Automatically. When you visit, standard technical details are recorded, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you. Through Google Analytics, cookies also help me understand, in aggregate, how the site is used.
Directly. When you use the contact form or the referral form, I collect what you choose to provide, such as your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details of your message. The referral form also asks for the name and contact details of a business you are introducing to me.
When you book a call. The scheduling page collects your name, email address, phone number, anything you type into the question field, and the time slot you pick. See "Booking a call" below, because that page is not hosted on this site.
When you ask for a report from a free tool. The free tools at /tools/ run entirely in your browser: your answers are scored on your own computer, the result appears without you entering any contact details, and nothing is sent to me while you use them. If you then ask for the written report, that submission sends me your name and email address (business name and phone are optional) together with what you entered. For the assessments that means your answers, your score, and the findings; for the Downtime Cost Calculator it means the figures you typed, including any headcount, hourly employment cost, and revenue-per-hour numbers; for the Employee Offboarding Checklist it means which items you ticked. Asking for the report is optional and you always see the full result first.

That is the extent of it. This site does not run a newsletter, client portal, or account login, and nothing you enter into a free tool is stored on the site or shared with anyone else.

How I use this information

To respond to your inquiry and follow up about IT services.
To schedule, hold, and confirm a call you have booked.
To follow up on a referral you send me and, where applicable, arrange any referral reward.
To operate, maintain, and improve the website.
To send you the written report you asked for from a free tool, and to follow up about what it found.
To understand overall site usage through aggregate analytics.

I do not use your contact details for advertising, and I will not add you to marketing lists without your consent.

Referrals

If you introduce a business to me through the referral form, you provide that business's name and contact details so I can follow up. I ask you to confirm you have that person's permission before you share their details, and I use those details only to contact them about the introduction, not for advertising or marketing lists. If you were referred and would like your details removed, email info@solvitechitsolutions.com and I will take care of it.

Booking a call

The "Book a free 15-minute call" buttons open a scheduling page hosted by Microsoft (Microsoft Bookings). That page is not part of this website, and Microsoft's own privacy terms apply to it in addition to this policy. When you book, you provide your name, email address, phone number, and whatever you write in the question field, and the booking is recorded in my Microsoft 365 account along with the time you chose. I use that information to hold the call, send you a confirmation and reminder, and follow up afterwards. I do not use it for advertising or marketing lists.

Booking is optional. If you would rather not use the scheduling page, the contact form, email, and both phone numbers reach me just as well.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics (GA4), which sets cookies to measure traffic and usage in aggregate. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Blocking cookies will not stop you from using the site.

How I share information

I do not sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing. I rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the site and respond to you, for example, Formspree, which delivers submissions from the contact form, the referral form, and the free-tool report requests to me, Microsoft, which runs the scheduling page and my email and calendar, and Google Analytics, which processes usage data. These providers handle information only to provide their service. I may also disclose information where required by law.

Data retention and security

I keep information submitted through the site's forms, and booking details from the scheduling page, for as long as needed to respond and for my business records, and then dispose of it. I take reasonable steps to protect the information I hold, but no method of transmitting data over the Internet is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Sensitive information

I do not seek sensitive personal data through this site. Please do not submit sensitive information, such as financial account numbers, passwords, or health data, through the contact form, the scheduling page, or a free tool.

Two of the free tools do ask about your own business: the assessments ask where your IT and security stand, and the Downtime Cost Calculator asks for figures such as headcount, hourly employment cost, and revenue per hour. You can see every result without sending any of it to me. It reaches me only if you choose to request the written report, so if you would rather not share those details, read the result on screen and skip the email step.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can browse the entire site without submitting any personal information. If you have contacted me and would like to know what I have on file (or want it corrected or deleted) email info@solvitechitsolutions.com and I will take care of it.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent version.
